Dennis December

We kicked off our Christmas with the MCO Christmas concert. It felt like every LDS person within a 100 mile radius was there.

Scotty rocked the YM white elephant with his handcrafted "Mistletoe Magic."

On a lovely Saturday morning we had our ward Christmas party and then in the afternoon a piano party for my piano studio.

Below is what was obviously the highlight of the party.

We also had our Co-op party at the land, goats and all.

We went to the Giving Machine, got a baby goat, lead rope, and mattress, ran into mom's writing friend from Storymakers, and saw the extent that the workers are NOT allowed to proselyte. They couldn't say that the church sponsored the machines. They could only tell people to click on the link. Whatever. Baby goats. Aren't they cute?

And then (drumroll please...) our Christmas Eve dinner with the Lundgrens. It's one of our favorites.

Mmmmm, cinnimon rolls. Bleeehhhh, caramel rolls.

Cider, it's just cider.

Pjs! + Mr. Bingley for good measure.

Christmas morning! This year it was mom's turn to display The Foot. (Compare from a few years ago)

A few of the most appreciated gifts. Mainly a SIGNED EMMA M. LION!!! THAT SAID "TO MAREN, A FELLOW WRITER." That was big people, really big.

Plus, a dress form! My new twin. I wore those pjs all day on Christmas. Best pair I own.

Now we're back to normal, as you can tell.

That's about it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We're so grateful for Jesus and that joy that it brings to celebrate Him, anytime, anywhere.
