Mom said this month was boring. I don't believe her.
Scotty went to rowing camp! We only saw him row a tiny bit but he looked pretty cool doing it.
Dad's dreams are filled with shaved ice and mangos. To fulfill these dreams he is 1) going to Taiwan.
2) He called up Dustin Divis and made FHE plans to go over to their house and make some yummy shaved ice with the Divises' shaved ice machine. Twas tasty! Although I found that it was slightly stressful to eat because of the ice melting. You feel like you have to cram it in before it turns into soup.
Then on the morning of the 4th I was sleeping in and mom came into my room and was like "Opossum!" Turns out there was a baby opossum on our fence. I was researching them and apparently once the get big enough they come out of the mothers pouch and ride on her back, but then they sometimes fall of and she doesn't notice. We that's what happened with this guy. Isn't he cute??
He was too little to be by himself so I bribed Scotty with access to my phone and Reherscore (what we use to practice songs for Frozen) and we went on an adventure trip to an animal rescue. The lady at the place just took the baby out with her bare hands! As more compensation for coming with me and helping me navigate and be on the freeway, I got Scotty an oreo concrete and Andy's. Such was our morning!
Then we went to Cameron for a 4th of July party that the Hancocks invited us to. It was fun but very, very hot. I got a tree with pretty flowers from the guy that lives there! Dad ate pie. Scotty played lots of volleyball. And mom looked adorable in her festive Amazon dress!
