Annie's Laugh

Annie was giggling so much when we played this little game with her. And she actually did a little laugh for the camera, too. Here it is.

Annie is 3 months old now. We can't believe it. She has grown so quickly. Last we checked, she weighed 13 lbs. 7 oz. and was 23 inches long. She has gotten a fat belly and a proper double chin and is smiling at anything and everything. Occasionally, we even get her to giggle. It's wonderful to see her little mind and personality come alive.

Dad & Annie

I am student teaching this semester. Fortunately, Aaron gets to stay home with Annie while he does research. Annie has been very accommodating in this arrangement and actually lets Aaron get a lot done. And they get some special bonding time. Aaron is already teaching Annie to computer program. I think her learning will skyrocket once she gains the fine motor skills to be able to type.

Blessing

Right after Christmas break, we also blessed Annie in our ward. She behaved beautifully, and we had family and friends come to support us. We are so grateful for our little girl. She gets more and more awesome all the time.

And thanks for finishing the blanket in time, Grandma!

We had some amazing food afterwards. Yum, yum.

Christmas

Here is our special Christmas Eve dinner. It is sweet rice with milk and cream, sweet rolls, candy, cookies, and nuts. It was Aaron's first time having it. He was amazed that here was a meal that was all desserts, sanctioned by adults. There was some fruit, too, but I basically just told Aaron, "Welcome to the family."

So Annie actually slept through most of Christmas Eve and the exciting gift opening on Christmas Day. Imagine that! Her best gift was the movie Nacho Libre from Uncle William. Her second best gift was diapers from Mom and Dad (Aaron and me). Our little niece loved playing with Annie and would whisper "Baby" incessantly every time she saw her.

We also had a white elephant gift exchange on New Year's Eve. As presents, Aaron and I gave an eco-log (never buy these; they stink)and a shower rod. Seth (4 years old) got the shower rod and was quite excited about it. Grandpa was less excited, especially when he saw Seth "playing" with his new toy close to the T.V. Annie, as you can see, got these special glasses. They didn't quite fit, so mouth and binky ended up in the nose part of the glasses. Ugh!
