New Recruits for Texas

My brother moved away from Texas, so we recruited Aaron's brother to move down to Texas. Actually, it had nothing to do with us, but we're really glad William and Heather moved here. We've gotten to see a lot of them already, and we're looking forward to the next three years while they're here.

Over the weekend of the 4th of July, we went to a rodeo together. We all felt very Texan. My favorite events were the barrel racing and the mutton busting. This kid who was apparently visiting from South Africa was the winner on the mutton busting (where the kids ride a sheep and hold on for as long as they can). And the barrel racing was fun because it last more than five seconds.
