Old News: The 4th of July

Wow, it's been a long time since I've blogged. The 4th of July happened again this year. Our favorite event was the hot air balloon festival. This year was especially fun because Felicia's family joined us. And, once again, we had one land on our street.
Annie wanted to make sure to go and see the balloon that had landed on our street. It was in spot #9. It was easy to find the hot air balloon pilot because his hair was painted red, white, and blue.

We also attended Colonial Fest this year. We had a great time seeing the cannon go off, watching them bake bread, playing colonial games, seeing a printing press, putting ourselves in the stocks, and trying on armor.

That week my brother Joe and his family also came through town. It was wonderful to see them. Such good people!

There are many perks living on your street! When you live in Orem next year, hopefully a balloon will still find you! That armor is sweet, we didn't see that fanciness.
