Oh, did we celebrate Halloween! I was a witch, and Annie and Scotty were my two cats. Aaron held the witch's cauldron full of candy. He's always such a trooper when it comes to costumes. On a side note, the chili I contributed to the ward chili cook-off (it was Felicia's recipe) won 2nd place. The costume I'm wearing also belonged to Felicia.
We went to Aaron's parents' house. William and Heather couldn't make it for Thanksgiving, so they came for Halloween instead. We took family pictures.
And trick-or-treated over 250 pieces of candy. The kids played in the leaves. Heather really captured the moment.
On a blustery day, we also took the kids to the park. Again, Heather took some great pictures. I feel like one of those fancy bloggers with an official photographer who follows the family around wherever they go.
Later in the week, William and Heather came down our way and even spent the night in our apartment. It worked out pretty well now that Scotty can sleep in the same room as his parents. Heather and I went to a fancy, free organ and choir workshop.
We love that William and Heather make such an effort to visit us. We get to see them a lot considering they live twelve hours away. We always love being with them.
