Easter

I have to say that Easter this year was the most exciting holiday in Annie's life so far. She understood what was going on and thought the free candy idea was a great invention. Hence, the Easter basket was a big hit. I just had to throw a few jellybeans in there, and she was happy. The chocolate bunny was a hit, too.

We also were asked to sub in Annie's nursery class on Easter Sunday. The lesson had a little sheet the kids could color and cut out pictures of Jesus, the tomb, and the stone rolled in front of the tomb. I'd done the lesson with Annie, and she thought the whole stone idea was really cool. I thought that was a bit funny, but Annie wasn't alone. All of the nursery kids loved the idea of the angels pushing the stone away from the tomb. I guess the nursery manual makers knew what they were doing.

I also got a new little dress for Annie at the MBA kid clothing exchange that they do every year. Annie's so tall that I was glad to get a new dress long enough for her.

Annie, Aaron, and I also watched this movie together. Did you see it?
