I made this little announcement for Annie's baptism (edited to not give internet crazies too much information). And I just can't stop looking at this picture of Annie. She is so grown up! It makes me happy and sad and proud all at the same time.
And today was the primary program. Annie just sang her little heart out. Can I just take a minute as her mother and say she was so, so sweet and enthusiastic. She was shining with goodness. I can see that it's a good time in her life for her to get baptized. And she kept looking at Aaron and me and would beam with happiness every time she did. Then afterward, Scotty went to class with his teacher (he did a great job in the primary program, too) but Annie came back to our bench so she could "get some congratulations." I'm really, really grateful for Annie in my life.
Okay, now for a little flashback.
I love this picture. (Photo cred: Heather)

It's a beautiful announcement for a beautiful lady. It was so shocking to see what a grown up, fun, smart lady she is becoming. 8 is such a fun age. Bravo mama for giving her a great role model. And that baby picture of Annie is my favorite too.
