Grandma and Grandpa McCombs Visit Texas

We got to have a bit of an extended reunion because my parents stopped by at our house before they won't home. It's so lovely to have space for visitors! My parents took each of the kids on their only little date. Scotty chose to go to Dairy Queen for a corn dog. Annie chose to go to McDonald's and the library. They were thoroughly spoiled.

We also went as a whole family to Rudy's and Andy's and Snow Monster. Yum!!

We also gave the grand tour of Aaron's work. It was sort of surreal having my parents be at Aaron's work where he now has a real job, and to remember that we really graduated! That happened! Grad school is over forever. I'm so grateful for people like our parents who saw us through that time of our lives.

And of course we had lovely chatting, outside walks and catch with Grandpa, and card games from Grandma's purse. It was magical. The picture below also shows Annie's construction paper creations. She made fans and costumes and clothing.
Thanks for making the effort to come, Mom and Dad/Grandma and Grandpa!! We loved every minute.

I love all these pictures! So much cuteness and love should almost not be permitted. And i'm loving your mom's longer hair too. Ya for a visit and ya for family!
